Day Trip To Padstow

 

Cornwall Youth Jazz Orchestra
 
Fresh from the Hall for Cornwall as part of Music Cornwall's "Marvellous Music" concerts last week, CYJO (Cornwall Youth Jazz Orchestra) prepares for a trip to Padstow to play for Padstow Rotary Club's 'Midsummer Music' at Prideaux Place on Friday 22nd June 2012.
 
This time we are taking both Orchestras and we share the opening spot from 6.30 - 7.45pm, followed by Company B and Rhapsody, a Queen tribute band.
 
CYJO 2 will perform under the stick of Sarah McDonagh, and will play favourites such as 'Take 5' and 'Watermelon Man'.  CYJO1's programme will include vocals from Tegan Pryce and a selection of big band styles from swing (Sammy Nestico) to contemporary numbers in a funk and latin style.
 
Tickets are selling fast, so if you would like to come along, complete with picnic, and relax to the sounds from 18.30 til late, contact the Rotary Club of Padstow here.
