Cornwall Youth Wind Orchestra to Perform at Carnglaze Caverns
On Tuesday 3rd April the Cornwall Youth Wind Orchestra, conducted by Janet Elston, will be giving their annual concert at Carnglaze Caverns.
The Orchestra is one of Music Cornwall’s many ensembles and comprises of 60 of the most talented young musicians from across Cornwall. They meet for a series of day and weekend courses throughout the academic year leading up to the forthcoming performance at Easter.
The programme will consist of a variety of pieces including Nocturne for Harp where they will be joined by two guest soloists on Harp and Outback, an Australian piece which will feature some Didgeridoo players.
