Hall for Cornwall Logo
Musicians are invited to join the Hall for Cornwall (HfC) Summer School. The 11-day workshop will stage Alan Bennett’s west end classic, The Wind in the Willows. Beginning August 6, actors, musicians, and technicians for the production will come together to prepare for the final showcase scheduled on August 18, Saturday.

Experienced musicians, aged 11 to 19 years old, who can play the drums, flute, oboe, clarinet, violin, guitar, and keyboards, will be working alongside talented theater actors and professional technicians. The production team does not intend to conduct auditions as they are expecting the talented hopefuls to bring not only their own instrument, but also their years of experience playing their instrument of choice.

The Wind in the Willows follows the story of a group of animal friends who sets out on an adventure in the English countryside. This production will be the first offering of HfC’s Summer School. Registration for the participants is £195, which includes 11 days of workshop and one ticket allocation.

Actors, musicians, and technicians are in for a one-of-a-kind theater experience. For more details on the production or on how to book tickets, visit the website http://www.hallforcornwall.co.uk and click on the Things to Do link. Interested parties may also contact Box Office on 0187 226 2466.
