Marvellous Music

What an amazing two nights at the Hall for Cornwall. 

I was privileged enought to ba a part of and to be able to watch both nights of the showcase for music cornwall. 

The range of ages, instruments and talent was amazing - from the youngest player in the fiddle orchestra to the older children performing outstanding solos.

I managed to speak to several people in the audeience, teachers and parents, and they all said that having bought tickets to come and see their children, the whole evening was thoroughly enjoyable and that they look forward to the next evening already.

Having worked with pupils from the cluster choirs and junior woodwind ensembles I know how much time and effort went into rehearsals for the evnings, but I also know how much they enjoyed the experience, and think it is an invaluable part of their musical learning and futures.

Well done to all Music Cornwall staff for such a big success.
