"“The commitment and professionalism shown both by the young people who were performing and those who organise and run the CYWO is incredible and everyone concerned is to be commended. So oftern young people are seen in a negative light and it was an absolute pleasure to have the privilidge of attending such an event. These young people showed amazig talent and real commitment, whilst at the same time studying for exams and only meeting up a few times during the year. We are already looking forward to next year and being involved with this wonderful organisation and the people who make it all possible.”

Structure
Music Cornwall is a part of Cornwall Learning, led by Sharon Longden. Overseeing Music Cornwall is the Business Development Manager of service who liaises with experienced Team Leaders of each instrumental discipline and Curriculum Provision. Team leaders can communicate matters of policy and administration to teachers. Conversely, teachers can contact team leaders for advice or clarification of any issues which may arise. If necessary team leaders can pass the request on to the Business Development Manager or the Head of Cornwall Learning.
Teachers (other than team leaders) from each team take part in ‘cross-service’ meetings to collaborate on projects, work on new strategies to develop and improve the service and share best practice.
A dynamic and effective team of administrators support the whole service and deal with timetabling, charging schools, collating information on pupils and members of ensembles, staff salaries and communication via post, email and telephone.
